On some specific Cummins engines, a fault over VGT (Variable Geometry Turbine) actuator needs a specific procedure to correctly achieve reparation. This specific procedure must be followed also when the VGT actuator is removed and reinstalled.

Cummins VGT installation and calibrator procedure:

1) Connect new actuator by wire only, leave it aside, DON'T install at this moment

2) From FCAR scanner, go to Diesel Engine, Cummins, Smart detect, Confirm, Action Test to find  VGT Electronic Actuator Installation and Calibration (Enabled)

3) Click F1 to start installation, until "success"

4) Now install and mount Actuator

5) Go back to scanner to find Calibrate Actuator

6) Click on Calibrate actuator

7）Click F1 to start calibration

8) Tighten actuator, done
